Background
The localism “from the Red River to the Trinity River” certainly applies to me. As a native Texan having been born in Sherman and growing up in Garland, I have spent my entire life living along the US75 corridor between these two outstanding cities.
I have watched the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex blossom over the years; and, as a retired law enforcement professional I had a front row seat as Collin County grew from a sparsely populated rural county to one of the fastest growing urbanized counties in Texas.
The cities along US75 north of Dallas including Plano, Allen, McKinney, Melissa, Anna, Van Alstyne, Howe, and Sherman have been blessed over the years with innovative companies offering an array of employment opportunities in healthcare, technology, manufacturing, retail, and more. Educational opportunities flourish at Collin College, Grayson County College, Austin College in Sherman, and the University of Texas at Dallas.
My goal is to use my knowledge of these North Texas cities to help sellers and buyers facilitate real estate transactions that not only fulfill their housing dreams, but help them do it in a community that fits their particular lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for a city with its own minor league sports team, access to state-of-the-art healthcare, a world-class education, or acreage on which to spend a lazy afternoon drowning a worm in your very own fishin’ hole, I hope you will give me a chance to help you realize your next real estate dream.
Hobbies/Interests
In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, travel, and live music events.
I have had the pleasure of fishing for halibut in Ketchikan, AK and Ono in Honolulu, HI not to mention some the best striper fishing anywhere at Lake Texoma on the Texas/Oklahoma border.
I love to travel and have been blessed to have visited every major city in Texas at one time or another. I have also traveled to various cities in the states of Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and the country of Mexico. The rest of the world is on my bucket list.
I have never met a music genre I didn’t like, but I will admit that Blues is my favorite. Some of my favorite artists are B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Marcia Ball, Delbert McClinton; and, of course, Texas music legend Stevie Ray Vaughan.
